Google Meet is a great way to chat with friends and family. You can use Google Meet to share screens and presentations. You can also set a background image for your meeting. Setting a background can make your meeting more fun and easy to find.

How to change your Google Meet background:

  1. Log in to Google Meet
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen
  3. Click on the “Settings” option
  4. Click on the “Background” tab
  5. Click on the “Choose File” button
  6. Select a background image
  7. Click the “Save” button
  8. Click on the “Done” button

How to change your Google Meet background during a video call 

Ever find yourself in a Google Meet video call and want to change the background? Here's how to do it. 

  • Tip 1: When changing backrounds, be sure to change the background for both the active and inactive video windows. 

  • Tip 2: To change the backround, type in the following command on the command line: gm date-in-content 

For example, if you're on a video call with monthly presentations and want to change the background to a weekly view, type in "gm date-in-content" and the background will change to the next day.
