The year is getting close to the end, and game developers begin to announce that the games they are working on will be delayed. It is not that rare to receive notification on the delay of the release after you’ve waited for several years. Forever Skies made by Far From Home is not an exception. You can read the announcement on the official Steam’s blog. Apparently the game does not meet the deadline that was originally set. According to developers, Forever Skies will be available somewhere during the first half of 2023.
This decision was made after the company released a demo version. The demo quickly became popular and was downloaded more than 80 000 times. Once players tried it they began to send advice to the Far From Home developers about the updates that must be made in the game. Apparently, the company took all suggestions seriously. Even now developers are gathering the information from gamers on how they can make the game better. It means that even the Early Access option will be available later than it was promised. The company asks to stay patient and give more time. Many players agree to wait hoping to receive an improved version of the game.
According to the source, the game will have a wider range of locations, detailed repair system and airship damage. There will be more work on the gameplay done. Players will receive airship customization of a higher level. Some features will be added to the game during the run of Early Access period.
